Hi! I'm Trey! Believe it or not but my love for filmmaking started off because of my wife  who was trying to find a way to attend her best friend's sisters wedding.  Eventually after being volun-told I was filming this wedding, I realized the enjoy and how much of a creativity of outlet it was capturing each couples own story. Weddings shortly became a new passion of mine and the rest is history! Over 3 years later and each wedding is still just as exciting as the very first time, without the terror of having no idea what I’m doing.

 I am a South Carolina native,  and still live in the same small town. I’m an Enneagram 3 which makes me ambitious, adaptable, and wired for setting goals and achieving them in the most efficient way possible. My obsessions include, but are certainly not limited too: discovering new restaurants, meeting new people, hanging out with the family, a great workout, and "taking the trip'.

As a lead videographer for Trey Mintz Films, Sommer has 7 years of experience of capturing the authentic and emotional moments throughout a wedding day. She has the ability to read a room and document moments that are happening naturally and when to communicate effectively. 

Outside of Trey Mintz Films, Sommer is passionately pursuing being a mother of our two sweet children, our personal trip advisor, and a loving wife. She graduated from Clemson University & MUSC to discovery a career as an Oncology Pharmacist,
